11.7.6 Executive Order 8802 Dated June 25, 1941, in which President Franklin D. Roosevelt Prohibits Discrimination in the Defense Program

Description

The first page of Executive Order 8802, in which Roosevelt banned discriminatory employment practices by Federal agencies and all unions and companies performing war-related work. The order also established the Fair Employment Practices Commission to enforce this new policy.
